My roots are deep into Hawkins Co, TN. I am a direct descendent of Hugh Jenkins and Ellen Russell. My grandfather's father was also a Russell he changed his name from Russell to Jenkins in the 1940s. I am waiting on several certificates before I submit my research portfolio to Hawkins Co Archives. I am roughly back to 1780s-90s on both families. Have located wills and other documents that may help you with questions concerning Russells.
