Photo taken from one showing Obediah Beene b: 1831 and his brother Samuel Wilson Beene. Photo was in a frame that had been through a flood and tore when removed. There were three Obediah Beenes in Freestone Co, TX in the late 1800's. This one is son of John (Jack) Beene and Sarah Unknown, and grandson of Robert Bean b: 1764. In fact, all three of these Obediah Beene's were grandsons of Robert Bean b: 1764. (You wouldn't think there would be a problem of confusing folks by the name of Obediah Beene, would you? Wrong! I have nine Obediah Beene's in my database, and I am sure I do not have them all. I have the same problem with Lemuel Beene's, with 13 and counting).
