Russell Family Information

George Russell b: 1720 was son of William Russell and brother of Lydia Russell b: 1726 who married William Bean b: 1721.  He married Elizabeth Bean b: 1723, sister of William Bean b: 1721.

Lydia Russell, wife of William Bean, the Pioneer; b: 1726 was daughter of William Russell.  Her brother, George Russell b: 1720, married Lydia's sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bean b: 1723.  Many sources tell the remarkable story of Lydia's capture by Indians and her eventual return to her family.
